Requirements:


  • Be at least 20 years of age (21 years of age in New South Wales and Victoria)
  • Have access to a vehicle that meets safety requirements
  • Hold a valid full driver’s license in your state or territory
  • Have held a full driver’s license in any Australian state or territory for at least 12 months (exceptions apply in certain states and territories)
  • Provide all the necessary documents required in your state or territory
  • Be listed as an insured driver for the vehicle you plan to drive



The following documents will be required:



A valid, full driver’s license for your state or territory

  • Your passport or birth certificate
  • Any other documents required in the state or territory you plan to drive in
  • A driver profile photo
  • Must be a forward-facing, centered photo including the driver's full face and top of shoulders, with no sunglasses
  • Must be a photo only of the driver with no other subject in the frame, well-lit, and in focus. It cannot be a driver's license photo or other printed photograph
  • The driver's App will ask for your license, registration and vehicle insurance documents. All other documents will need to be forwarded to tbtaus@outlook.com




Minimum requirements for driving in Perth:


  • ANCAP 5-Star rated,
  • In excellent working condition
  • No older than the maximum age of 15yrs
  • A 4-door car or passenger van
  • No more than 8 seats, including the driver’s seat
  • Able to pass a vehicle inspection
  • Are registered with 3F motor injury insurance in Western Australia
  • Have a Passenger Transport Vehicle (PTV) Authorization (OD-C)
  • Free from cosmetic damage (e.g. scuff marks, scratches and indentations such as hail damage)
  • Free from commercial branding (e.g. graphics or wraps greater than 20cm by 20cm)


Insurance

All vehicles must be covered by 3F motor injury insurance (MII), and have at least third-party property damage insurance. Speak with your insurance provider to inform them that you may be engaging in ridesharing. Please note, this may cause your premium to increase. You also need to be listed on the car’s property damage insurance policy, even if you are not the vehicle owner or main policyholder.


As a driver you are responsible for reporting and paying for all relevant taxes associated with your earnings.


As a driver you independently provide transportation services and are not considered a contractor nor employee of TrueBlue Transit.
